Betty Jane BRAUN

Betty Jane “Braunie” Braun, age 75 of Brookfield passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Elmbrook Hospital.  Braunie was born on August 30, 1948 to Frank and Marilyn (Van Stelle) Braun.  Braunie was joined in marriage to Sheila Krueger on August 1, 2015 in Waterford.

Braunine loved to travel.  She and Sheila took their RV everywhere.  They traveled to Florida every year.  They went to Braunie’s heaven on earth, the UP.  She loved and followed the Brewers, Packers, Badgers.  Baseball was her sport.  Braunie was known to take much longer than needed to mow her lawn as she loved driving around on her mower.

Survivors include her wife of almost 9 years yet partners and together for 35 years, Sheila Krueger; her siblings, Linda Fickett, Michael (Kay) Braun and Deborah (Bob) Hoernes; her in-laws, Sharon (John) Wood, Donald (Jean) Krueger and Debra Cole; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother-in-law, Donald Fickett.

A Life Celebration for Braunie will be held at a later.  Please keep an eye out for updates.
