James P. DIBB

James P. “Jim” Dibb passed peacefully on March 14, 2024 in Waukesha, WI at the age of 71.

Jim is survived by his wife of almost 43 years, Jean (Fleischmann); daughters, Tamara (Jacob) Janczak and Kelsey (Justin) Scale; loving grandpa/papa of Zoe Czernisz, Haley Janczak, Olivia and Mason Scale; siblings, Joyce Dibb, Donna (Richard) Wentarmini, John (Patti) Dibb, Randall (Luann) Dibb, Jerry Dibb and Lisa (Richard) Suminiski; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding Jim in death are his parents, James and Winifred Dibb; brother, Stephen Dibb; in-laws, Paul and Marion Fleischmann and fur babies, Brownie and Lucky.

Jim worked for 30+ years for Waukesha Electric.  He loved playing poker.  Jim was able to complete his bucket list, he wanted to play in the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.  In 2019 Jim and his daughters, Tammy and Kelsey, flew to Las Vegas and Jim was able to play in the World Series of Poker.

A visitation for Jim will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 10:00AM until the Time of Remembrance at 12:00 (noon) at Thelen Funeral Services (W309S4840 Commercial Drive, North Prairie/Genesee).  A light luncheon and continued fellowship will follow the services at the funeral home.
